Οταν κυκλοφορώ πεζός ή σπρώχνοντας παιδικό καρότσι, πολλές φορές χρειάζομαι έντυπα από τους streetpanthers.
Οταν οδηγώ όμως, πολλές φορές εύχομαι να είχα μια συσκευή ή έναν τρόπο για να επικοινωνίσω με τους άλλους οδηγούς γύρω μου (εμβέλεια 50μ)..
- Εχει βραδυάσει και κυκλοφορούν στην πόλη χωρίς φώτα
«ΦΩΤΑ ΡΕΕΕΕ» - Κυκλοφορούν με κάποια πόρτα ανοιχτή (ή το καπώ!)
«ΚΛΕΙΣΕ ΚΑΜΙΑ ΠΟΡΤΑ ΜΑΣΤΟΡΑ, ΓΙΑΤΙ ΘΑ ΠΕΣΕΙ Η ΓΙΑΓΙΑ ΑΠΟ ΤΟ ΠΙΣΩ ΚΑΘΙΣΜΑ» - Περιμένω να βγω από διασταύρωση, και ο απέναντι που έρχεται «ξεχνάει» να βγάλει φλας..
«ΦΛΑΣ ΡΕ $(*&%$»
Ας μπορουσα, για παράδειγμα, να στείλω SMS στον αριθμό πινακίδας του οχήματος..
UPDATE: ΝΑ μια πολύ καλή εφαρμογή για το Bluetooth που έχουν τώρα όλα τα καινούρια αυτοκίνητα..

Yeap! I’ve been thinking about this since the mid-90’s.
I think it’s a great idea especially for the social networking part of
traffic jams :-)
And communication need not always be done by radio. You can also have a
nice 160×16 led screen in the back of the car, with scrolling text.
Now, on a more serious note, there are actually some academic conferences
on this, like VCNA2009 and
IVCS09.
Also I just received today a call for papers for a special issue of an IEEE
journal on this topic, so along with cognitive radio this is considered
a hot topic.
It would be nice to reuse an existing protocol for the station to station communication, so that even if you can’t actually get a dedicated communications device right now, you can still chat with others with one you built yourself.
And on another note, there’s surely going to be some form of regulation on
these devices since most things that distract drivers are prohibited by
law in most countries.
